Reports To: Site-Director
Program Supervisor: Student Services Director
Qualifications: High School Diploma; College Degree preferred
Duties:
1. Coordinate the TEAM (student mentor) program.
2. Recruit, train, and assign mentors to each full-time Foothills student.
3. Make mentor reassignments when mentor/mentee relationships are not working.
4. Monitor site program budget and time spent by mentors with each student.
5. Send weekly emails to mentors with information they need to discuss with their mentees.
6. Meet with mentors each week to discuss: student contacts, parent contacts, monthly LAP (Life Action Plan) calendars, and student referrals.
7. Advise mentors as needed (i.e., contact suggestions, available resources, confidentiality with students).
8. Provide information for Wellness Report as needed. Communicate LAP/Mentor FileMaker Pro needs to the Head Registrar.
9. Make home visits with social worker on non-attenders and pending list students.
10. Communicate program progress with Site Directors on a regular basis.
11. Attend monthly Student Services meetings.
12. Conduct biannual student and mentor surveys.
13. Attend system TEAM Coordinator meetings as scheduled.
14. Submit yearly mentor progress report at the end of May.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by the Site-Directors. |
